afternoon, March 6. The president,
Mats, W. A. Oakes; was in the chair,

piano. After the opening hymn,.
"Faith of our Father's, ,the presi-
dent led in prayer.
The devotional progs+am was taken
by Mrs. John Nediger, reading the
Scriptltre from Father, 3trs. Addisors
giving ,thoughts an. ;the lesson, and
prayer by Mrs. Vanl1orne,
All reports were received and ac-
cepted..•
Regrets from Mrs. Ballantyne,
who was to have spoken to the meet-
ing, ?were given by Mrs. Oakes.
Final plans for the .St. Patrick's
Tea .were made and committees ar.
ranged.
For the month,. of February, 82
calls were made.

The Happy Workers' Chub held its
r
February meeting at the home of
.Mrs. (Raymond Jamieson, opening
with the singing of "Lead, kindlylight," followed, by' the Lords Pray-
er. The treasurer's report was 'given.
The lucky ticket was drawn by Allen
Durnin, and was won by Mrs. William
Holland.
The next meeting is to be held at
the .home of Mrs. Hugh 'Ball on
March 13.
The afternoon was spent in quilt-
ing. The meeting closed with the
National Anthem, after which a de-
licious lunch was served by Group
Four.
A very acceptable reading .by Mrs.
Charles Nelson on "Keep Going, and
hymn 383, brought the meeting to
a close. Mrs. J. Fraser's group were
hostesses.

ton Presbyterian Church met in the
church parlour on Wednesday after-
noon, March 5, with a ,very large
attendance. . The president, Mrs.
Twitchell, was in the chair, and Mrs.
Snider at the piano. The meeting
