Hears About Africa
The July meeting of the W. M. S.
of Clinton Presbyterian °hutch was
held at the home of Mrs. M. IVfe-
Taggart with MTS. George Robert-
on in charge. Mrs. EL Ward and 1Virs.
Joseph Wilson conducted the worship
period.
Mrs. Lane reviewed the sixth
chapter of the study book on "W,e
Touch Africa." The life of Mary
Slessor and Mary Murray given to
Africa was most interesting. A dis-
cussion on "the Advance for Christ"
program followed.
Many Calls had been made . during
the month on the sick in the hospital
and thanks was expressed for re-
covery. The president announced the
rally of the Presbyterial in Hensall
in September and hoped for a kood
attendance.
Mrs. Wilson and Miss Shaw assist-
ed the hostess in serving a picnic
lunch.
