Masons Entertain
A delightful affair was held at the
Dominion House, Zurich, Monday
evening, March 25, when the Masons
of Huron Lodge 224 entertained the
ladies to a banquet and program, and
as splsixty.endid evening was enjoyed by
Ivan Kalbfleisch, Zurich, acted as
Master of Ceremonies „for the pre -
gram which followed the banquet, in
the absence of Victor Dinnin who was
taken 111 on Sunday with flu.
Speakers for the evening were
Bros. Sewell and Albert Kalbfleisch,
Zurich, and Thomas Chapman, Bruce
field. Community singing was enjoy-
ed with Mrs. E. L. Mickle, Hensall,

OBITUARY
WILLIAM HESK
Following a private funeral at his
late residence, a public service was
held in Londesboro United Church on
Tuesday afternoon for the late Wil-
liam Henry Hesk, a Life-long resident
of the 8th concession, Hullett Town-
ship. The services were under the
auspices of L.O.L. No. 863, Londes-
boro, and were conducted by Rev. A.
D. Penman. Interment took place in
Clinton Cemetery.
Born in ,Searboro in 1871, deceased
moved to Hullett with his parents,
the late George Hesk and Paulene
Carrick, at the age of two years, He
was twice married, first in 1897 to
Miss Eva Mogridge who predeceased
him in 1913 and latterly to Miss Cath-
arine Benbour in 1914, who survives,
As well 'as Mrs. Hesk, there are one
-son, Emmerson, and one daughter,
Mona, Mrs. Lloyd Pipe; and five
grandchildren, all of Londesboro; one
brother, George, Toronto, and one
sister, Lizzie, Mrs. J. Danby, Walton.
Mr. Hesk had lived a very active
life and was very highly thought of
in the community. Two weeks ago
he suffered a severe heart attack and
since then had been a patient in Clin-
ton Public Hospital where he died on
Sunday afternoon. He was a mem-
ber of L.O.L. No. 863, Londesboro,
and Londesboro United Church.

at Deer Lodge for the coming season.
Federation to Meet
Goderich Township Federation of
Agriculture will hold its monthly
meeting next Thursday, April 18, at
eight o'clock in S. S. No. 11 school
house. Harvey Johnston, Walton,
representative of National Film
Board, will show several pictures. A
report also will be received from the
Hog Committee of the Township
Federation.

Contract A: Laying approximately
10 miles of vitrified tile sewer pipe
varying in. size from 6 inches to 15
inches in diameter, including house
connections and 2,400 feet of 6 inch
cast iron force main and construction
of 160 concrete manholes.
Contract B: •Construction of a
mechanical aerator -clarifier activated
sludge type set*age treatment plant
and sewage pumping station with all
appurtenances.

frames and covers and all mechanical
equipment for treatment plant and
pumping station supplied by the Corp-
oration.
