Featherston left on Tuesday to spend some time with her daughter, Mrs. Keith Leon- ard, and family in St. Lambert, Quebec. The play, "He's My Pal," pre- sented Y group from Porter's Hill, will be given in the base- ment of. St. Andrew's United Church on Friday evening. Mrs. Irene Bassett and Mrs. George Davison were here for a few days last week while closing the former's home before going\ to London for the winter. Mrs. Henry McClinchey left on Sunday to spend the winter in Preston. Her granddaughter and great-granddauglrter, who spent last week here, accompanied her. Each Monday evening through- out the winter months, the Town Hall will be available for this recreation, 'Teen-agers ,Arial have the floor from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., after which adult members will play. Mrs. R. H. F. Gairdner was called to Toronto on Wednesday owing to theillness, of her dau- ghter, Mrs. James R. Scott, who is in hospital, Mrs. Scott's many friends wish her a speedy re- covery. Cpl. Ted Davies, who has been a patient in Westminster Hospi- tal, London, end Mrs. Davies and Wendy, who have been visiting her mother in St. Thomas, re- turned to their home in the vil- lage on Monday. Fees for the season have been set. at two dollars for individuals; three dollars per couple, and a dollar and a half for 'teen-agers. New racquets have been provid- ed'for use of members who are not in possession of their own equipment. To Revive Badminton Next Monday, November 28, will see the revival of Badmin- ton in Bayfield. Bagged Three Deer Walter Westlake and John E. Howard returned -to their re- spective homes in the village on Sunday night after having enjoy- ed ten days' hunting on Mani- toulin Island.
