played host to a team from St.

4. This was the-first;gaple of the
year .and Clinton really. started.
it in a bad way. Consolation,
however, may be found in that
the Clinton ,boys had not had a
single practice 'before 'the genie,
while it is reported that St.
Marys have been practicing for
three months,
The' St. 'Marys bays' made a
smooth quick working team and
played a tight zone defence, which
was hard to break:... It is to be
remembered, however, that the
Clinton boys. lost their first game
lest year' and went on to win
the league championship, They
should repeat this again this year.
