was assisted by the groom's mo-
ther wearing a printed black silk
jersey dress with black acces-
sories and a corsage of yellow
roses.
Those serving at the reception
were Mrs. Lloyd Bond, Misses
Betty Johnson, Phyllis Shan-
ahan, Clinton; and Kathleen Clew,
London; assisted by Mrs. Wilfred
Pickett and Mrs. George Mann.
For a wedding trip to Northern
Ontario, the bride chose a suit
of grey gabardine with navy ac-
cessories, wearing a two-piece
fur, gift of the groom.
The bride's and groom's gift
to the maid of honof was pearls,
'to the bridesmaid, a bracelet,
and to the groomsman, a leather
billfold.

Brucefield United Church, at-
tractively' decorated with stand-
ards of autumn flowers and ferns,
was the setting for a pretty wed-
ding on Saturday afternoon„ Oc-
tober 1, at 2.30 o'clock, when Rev.
F. R. Stanway united in marriage,
Margaret Lillian McEwen and
Russell G. K. Zurbrigg. The bride
is the only daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John A. McEwen, Brucefieid,
and the groom is the only son of
Mr.;. Zurbrigg and the late Ezra
Zurbrigg, Wingham.
Traditional wedding music was
played by the church organist,
Mrs. J. R. Murdock, who also
accompanied the soloist, Mrs.
Benson Sutter, Clinton, who
sang "I'll Walk Beside You" be-
fore the ceremony, and "Because"
at the signing of the register.
Mrs. Sutter wore a floor -length
gown of white brocaded bengaline
with a corsage of pink Beauty.

Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride looked charming in=
gown of white bridal satin, fash-
ioned with fitted bodice and tiny
buttons down the front.. The yoke
was of Swiss eyelet lace end had
a wide stain bertha. The full
flared skirt ended in a slight
train. Her full-length veil of
embroidered net was held in
place by a halo of orange blos-
soms. She carried a cascade bou-
quet
of red Briareliffe roses.
