LONDESBORO
LOSES GROUP
TO BENMILLER
(By Jack Webster)
Betuniiler won. the WOAA In-
termediate "C" group 5 softball
championship this year by beat-
ing Londesboro 13-8 in Auburn
Monday night.
This has been a good series,
going the whole five games, with
Benmller winning the first two
games and Londesboro the third
and fourth.
Londesboro started things roll-
ing in the first inning on Mon-
day night by getting a one run
lead, however, by the end of the
third inning it was six -three for
BenneIler. The B -A's tried hard
to regain the lead but it just
seemed as if it was their bad
night and leer/miller kept a few
runs ahead of the boys. •

THREE GROUPS
HONOR DEAD
(Continued from Page One)
There are more then two bil-
lion coloured people in the
world. Too few of us realize
that they are waking up, and
will not for long accept an in-
ferior rating. There is racial
discrimination in Canada. Several
things are contributing to war
and when you condone these
things, you are signing a declara-
tion of war. Perhaps it does not
affect us here in Clinton; per-
haps there is no prejudice in
Canada. But we must guard
against degrading sentiments.
This old world will never be
safe while there are so many
hungry people in the world, the
minister continued. Here we
have food far beyond our needs,
and must remember this world
condition. •
He declared that we are hay -
ng the opportunity now to share
he Gospel of Jesus Christ. "Can't
we begin now, with the exper-
ience we have, with the know-
ledge we have, to help make the
world a better place?" he asked,
BINGO!
