Brussels Regrets
Minister's Departure
Keen regret was felt in Brussels
at the announcement that Rev.
H. C Wilson would shortly move
to Clinton where he has accepted
a call to Wesley -Willis United
Church. :During eight year's in
Brussels, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson
end family have made many
friends and through their kind-
ness and co-operation have en-
deared themselves to all.
Mr. Wilson has been an active
member of St, . John's Masonic.
Lodge, the Lions' Ciub;•tfie'.school
board. and the library board.
Mrs. Wilson took a deep inter-
est in the activities of church
organizations end her ability as
an elocutionist added to the en-
joyment of many an occasion.
A daughter Ruth, a teacher at
Gadshiil, and a son John, a stud-
ent at Brussels Continuation.
School, sang in the choir,

has recently completed her eighth
lactation on ROP test with a total
of 116,070 lbs. milk containing
3,847 lbs. fat, all her records hav-
ing been made •on twice -a -day
milking, She has been classified
as "Very Good" in Selective Reg-
istration. •
In reedgnition of having ex-
ceeded the 100,000 lje, mark her
owners will' receive' a Certificate
of Longtime Production from the
Hpistein Friesian Association of

Holds July Meeting
Ontario St. United. Church
IMS held its July meeting at
the home' of Mrs :Charles Stew-
art, with the president, Mrs.
Woolfrey, in the chair, and using
a poem "The Glory of God in
Creation" to openthe meeting
Mrs. W. S. R. Holmes conducted
the worship service using the
hymn "Breathe on me, Breath
of God," the Scripture John 1:
1-8, for the theme "God is Love,"
and offered a prayer of Thanks-
giving,
The minutes of the ,previous
meeting were read and received
as read. The treasurer, Mrs.
Wheatley, gave a very encourag-
ing report and stated $190.85 sent
to the Branch treasurer for the
first half of the year. The Com-
munity Friendship secretaries,
Mrs, Webster and Mrs, Wiltse,
reported seven home calls and
four hospital calls made, Mrs.
Fear, the Mission Band secretary
reported they had taken .holidays
for July and August. Mrs. Hog-
garth reported three new babies
for the Baby Band.
The Watch Tower was very
ably given by Miss Eleanor
Plumsteel, who gave a good
regime of missionary work the
world over. Mrs. Fear gave a
reeding "Doing the wife's shop-
ping." Mrs. Livermore gave a
paper on "The Atmosphere of
Home" and Miss Hattie Turner
gave a very comprehensive syn-
opsis of Lloyd Douglas' book "The
Big Fisherman."
The hymn' "Jesus shall reign
where'er the sun" and the Mizpah
Benediction closed this part of the
meeting.
The Woman's Association were
guests at this meeting and a de-
licious lunch was served by +he
WMS executive and Mrs. Stewart.
Mrs. Woolfrey announced that the
September meeting would be held
et the home of Mrs. W. M. Aken
