E. M. JEFFERSON, Teacher a Snell Clan Reunion Proves Successful The 40th annual Snell reunion was. held on Saturday, June 25, at Londesboro Community Hall, with 120 members of the clan present. Rain interfered with the sports programme but a highlight of the gathering was the Snell Geneal- ogy, the credit for which goes to Humphrey Grey, Benton Har- bor, Mich, Tables were set in the base- ment of the hall and by five o'clock all set down to a beauti- ful supper, after which all joined in a real sing -song led by Mildred Grey Raisky. Everyone proceeded to the main hall where the business was con- ducted and a good programme was much enjoyed. Humphrey Grey was again elected president and a motion was carried to holt' the 1950 re- union on the second Saturday of June, two weeks earlier than in previous years. Miss Agnew, Wingham, sang two solos, "Think of Me," and "Galloway Bay," accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Ed. Wendorf. Jane Mary and Richard Snell favoured with a duett. "June Brings its Roses," accompanied by Mrs. Wendorf. Jane Mary Snell sang a solo, "The Swal- low's, Farewell," accompanied by, Mrs. Wendorf. Stanley Township Misses. Kate McGregor, Wing - hem, and Margaret ,McGregor,. Toronto, are spending the holi- days at their home.
