Snell Clan Reunion
Proves Successful
The 40th annual Snell reunion
was. held on Saturday, June 25,
at Londesboro Community Hall,
with 120 members of the clan
present.
Rain interfered with the sports
programme but a highlight of the
gathering was the Snell Geneal-
ogy, the credit for which goes
to Humphrey Grey, Benton Har-
bor, Mich,
Tables were set in the base-
ment of the hall and by five
o'clock all set down to a beauti-
ful supper, after which all joined
in a real sing -song led by Mildred
Grey Raisky.
Everyone proceeded to the main
hall where the business was con-
ducted and a good programme
was much enjoyed.
Humphrey Grey was again
elected president and a motion
was carried to holt' the 1950 re-
union on the second Saturday of
June, two weeks earlier than in
previous years.
Miss Agnew, Wingham, sang
two solos, "Think of Me," and
"Galloway Bay," accompanied on
the piano by Mrs. Ed. Wendorf.
Jane Mary and Richard Snell
favoured with a duett. "June
Brings its Roses," accompanied
by Mrs. Wendorf. Jane Mary
Snell sang a solo, "The Swal-
low's, Farewell," accompanied by,
Mrs. Wendorf.
