A very interesting talk was
given by Mrs. Tavener on her
recent visit ,to the Jack Miner
sanctuary at Kingsville, while at-
tending Conference Branch. The
wonderful work of the late Jack
Miner is still being carried on
by his sons who said their fath-
er's motto always was "Have
faith in God," and everything
would turn out well,, 58,000 birds
have been tagged with Scripture
verses, carrying Godrs word to
the far northland, and being the
means of starting a" greet mis-
sionary work.
A letter of thanks for flowers
was read by the secretary. It was
decided to cancel the August
meeting. Hymn 97 was sung, and
the meeting closed with the Miz-
pals Benediction.
The WA meeting followed and
opened with the first verse of
hymn 384, and prayer by Mrs. B.
Tretvarthe. -: Several matters of
pusiness were discussed. It was
decided to hold an ice cream
social in the basement of the
church in the early part of the
summer. The last verse of hymn
384 was sung and Miss W. Tre-
wartha closed with prayer. Lunch
was served by the hotsesses. Miss
S. Acheson and. Mrs. MacMath.
