patient in Clinton Public Hos-

uated on Wednesday, June 8,
from the University of Toronto,
following a four-year: course in
X-ray work and spectroscopy,
with the degree of Bachelor of
Applied Science. Donald, a
particularly bright student, has
gone to Ottawa, from where he
will be flown either to Labra-
dor or Churchill on James Bay
for research work.

Forrest -Love Clan
Holds Large Reunion
The Forrest -Love reunion held
Monday, June 6, at Jowett's
Grove, Bayfield, was ,attended, by
over 100 members from London,
Thedford, Grand Bend, Seaforth,
Kippen, Hillsgreen, and Hensall.
The day, was ideal and the; meals
delicious with chicken the main
dish with all the extra trimmings.
Prize for the oldest member went
to Mr. Melvin Blanschard,.See-
forth, 84 years young; youngest,
Linda Miller, Grand Bend, , 13
months.
The following were named
1949.50 officers: President, Ro-
bert,Love, Thedford; secretary -
treasurer, Ferg Turnbull, Grand
Bend; sports, Percy Carirpbell,
Exeter, Garnet Paterson, E. Gill,
Grand Bend, Hugh Love, Hen-
sail; table cgnunittee, Mrs. Lorne
Luker, Hensall; Mrs. A. Fink-
beiner, Crediton; Mrs. W. Love,
Grand Bend. Sports were run
off climaxed with a ball game.

party as they passed through.

The bride, , Mrs. N. St. Louis,
formerly,, Betty Woolley, was
married in London .a short time
ago. .. -A, program, which consist-
ed of.a chorus byseveral younger
girls, vocal duets by Donna and
Leola Taylor, Margie Zapfe and
Verna Eyre; vocal solos by Elaine
Taylor; pianosolo by Thelma
Baird; a reeding, Eva Stackhouse;
several piano numbers by Mrs. A.
Johnston and a very humorous
mock wedding, were greatly en-
joyed.
An address was read by Marion
Paterson and Marjorie Mustard,
and Brie Dutot presented Betty
with a beautifully decorated
basket, containing many lovely
gifts. A delicious lunch • was
served.

Miss Margaret King has re-
turned after being a patient In
Alexandra Hospital, Goderich, for
a month and is convalescing at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gor-
don Taylor.

Grant Raithby, oldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raithby, is a
patient in Alexandra Hospital,
Goderich, suffering from a brok-
en leg which he received when
he was run over by a tractor.
