It is 28 year's since Mr. Lavis .was home and he sees a great many changes throughout the district, Newlyweds Honored About 65 friends and neighbors gathered at the school of SS. No. 4, tospend a social evening and to join in extending congratula- tions end best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lobb, Toronto, who were spending their honeymoon with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lobb and other relatives in the vicinity. An ad- dress was read by Carman Teb- butt and a living -room mirror was presented to the newlyweds by Jack Merrill from the neigh- bours in the community. Harry, very ably, thanked his friends far the gift, and all joined in sing- ing "For they are jolly good fellows.'
