to learn he is much improved in
health.

We are sorry to learn, Mrs. Joe
Riley is confined to her bed and
er the Doctors care. We hope Mrs.
Riley will soon be able td be
about her duties.

Happy Workers Club
"The May meeting of the Hap-
py Workers' Club was held at the
home of Mrs, Cliff Glazier. There
was no meeting as a number of
the ladies attended the opening
of the new wing at the hospital.
It was decided of donate $15 to
the hospital. There were 14 mem-
bers and seven visitors present.
The lucky ticket was won by
Mrs, Elgin Dale. The next meet-
ing is to be held at the home of
Mrs. Fred Pepper. During the
afternoon a quilt was quilted,
After the ladies came from the
hospital a dainty lunch was serv-
ed by group 1, which are: Mrs.
George Glazier, Mrs. Hugh Ball,
Mrs. Charles Brandon and Mrs.
