it bolted into a wire fence. Later, the uninjtued horse went
on to win first prize in its class.

North Huron Juniors
Hear Winlgham Man
The regular meeting of North
Huron Junior Farmers was held
in the Forester's Ha3i, Belgrave,
with a large attendance and with
John Currie, the president, in
the chair. The Huron and Perth
field day was also discussed. This
is to be held in Mitchell on
June 6.
"Tory" Gregg, Wingham, the
guest speaker of the evening, ad-
vised the young people to keep
an active interest in sports and
also to remain on the farm. "Un-
employment is greater now in the
towns and cities than it has been
in years," he stated. Eleanor
COMMUNITY CENTRE
SEAFORTH — The committee
appointed to investigate possib-
ilities of a memorial and com-
munity centre here is busy with
plans for financing the project.
Since the public unanimously
endorsed the proposal the com-
mittee has spent a great deel of
tune in trying to decide best
methods of raising funds.
Wightman played a piano solo and
Muriel Brydges read the club
paper. Maurice Hallahen acted
as "tail twister" for the evening,
Audrey Bradburn and Elaine
Walsh conducted a singsong: and
Doris Shiell directed games. The
meeting closed with luneb.

the order, a security deposit in
the form of a certified cheque on
a chartered bank in Canada, made
payable to the order of the Hon-
ourable the Mirnister of Public
Works, equal to 10 per cent of the
amount of the tender,. or Bearer
Bonds of the Dominion of. Can-
ada or of the Canadian National
Railway. Company and its con-
stituent companies unconditionally
guaranteed as to principal and
interest by the Dominion of Can-
ada, or the aforementioned bonds,
and a certified cheque, if requir-
ed to make up an odd amount,
Such security will serve as a
guarantee for the proper fulfil-
ment of the contract.
