William Cameron and friend, Detroit, visited his aunts, Misses E. and M. Cameron on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. L. Gray, London, visited the latter's mother, Mrs. H. A. Lawson over Victoria Day. Mr. and Mrs, Jack Tillman and two children, London, were in the village over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. G. Churchward, London, spent the weekend at their summer home in the village. Mr. and Mrs. John Pipe spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Simpson McCall, Stratford. Mr. and ,Mrs. Ray Vodden and family, Seaforth, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shobbrook. Mr, and Mrs. Welter Townsend, Brantford, visited at the home of Mr. and 'Mrs. Robert Townsend on Sunday. Douglas Wells, Clinton, spent Thursday at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ro- bert Youngblutt. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen and family spent Sunday with Mr. and IVIrs. Allen Fletcher, Kirkham Mr. Walker Kerslake returned home with them, after having spent the past week with his brother and other relatives in that vicinity. Mission Circle Meets The Aimwell Mission Circle held their regular monthly meet- ing et the home of Mrs. Charles Merrill on May 9 with the presi- dent, Lois }Wood, in the chair. The meeting was closed with Hymn 252, "In Christ there is no East or West," and the Mizpah bene- diction, Mission Band Meets The Mary Grierson Mission Band held its meeting in the base- ment of the church on Sunday morning with the vice-president, Ann Fairservice, in the chair. The meeting opened with call to wor- ship and Hymn 243, God Save the King and the Lord's prayer repeated in lnison.' The Scripture lessor. was read by Marjorie Young. The minutes of the last meeting were read by secretary Muriel Shobbrook. .The roll call was answered by 22 present. Marjorie Young was then present- ed with a Life Membership cer- tificate, a present from her aunt, Mrs. Saville of Clinton, Birthday pennies were given by Billy Crawford. Edwards who spent the winter in Broadview, Sask, and the past ten days with rela- tives in Kitchener, returned to her home on Tuesday. Larson read the minutes of the last meeting and the articles for the Indian Girl's outfit were assembled. Mrs. F. H. Paull gave a resume of addresses given at both the Diocesan W. A. Annual meeting and the Synod of the Diocese of Huron pertain- ing to Indian schools and parishes Rev. F, H. Paull pronounced the Benediction following which lunch was .served. SEE AND HEAR !
