Music Pupils Present
Delightful Program
'Pupils of Huron County Reg-
istered Music Teachers' pr@sent-
ed a most interesting programme
of instrumental and vocal music
in Blyth Memorial Hall Satur-
day evening, April 9.
Rev. W. J. Moores, Beigrave,
was the
genial enial chairman of the
program. In his commentaries
between numbers, Mr. Moores
expressed appreciation of the fine
efforts of the students. He urged
them to continue their musical
studies, whichproville pleasure
and satisfaction to themselves and
which lead to a useful contribu-
tion to community life.
The president, Mrs. J. G. Mc-
Dougall, Goderich, told the aud-
ience of parents and friends that
the .use of recitals is to provide
an opportunity for students to
become familiar with the con-
ditions and procedure of public
performances. They also prepare
pupils for performance at musi-
cal festival competitions. She
