Plans Clothing Bale
The April meeting of the
Woman's. Association of Wesley -
Willis United. Church was field
in the Parlour on" the afternoon
of April 7. The president, Mrs,
W. A. Oakes, was in the chair.
Mrs, H. Charlesworth was pianist.
The opening hymn was "In the
Cross of Christ I Glory"; the
Lord's Prayer was said in.unfson.
The subject for the devotional
period was "Fellowship in the
home." Miss M. Davies read the
Scripture lesson; the leaflet "Les-
son Thoughts" was read by Mrs.
J. Addison, and Mrs. George
Beattie offered prayer.
A lovely duett, "The Old Rug-
gde Cross," was sung by + Mrs.
John Innes and Mrs. Reg. Ship-
ley, accompanied by Mrs. Perm
Livermore.
The' secretary, Mrs. Wilbur
Martin, and the treasurer, : Mrs.
George Beattie, gave their re-
ports. The latter reported that
the total proceeds of the recently -
held St. Patrick's tea, amounted
to $200. Mrs. J. Nediger, Jr.,
gave the flower report, and' Mrs.
William Murch read a number of
letters of thanks for flowers sent
to the mothers of new babies,
and to those who have been ill.
Mrs. W. Pinning gave th'e report
of. the property committee and
was requested to purchase some
new linen for the diningroom.
A bale of clothing for Britain

was appointed to mee't.. with a
committee from the WMS to at-
tend to this work.
The «losing hymn was "Re-
joice the Lord is King." The
Mizpah Benediction brought, the

passed a resolution setting the date for
Daylig1 t Saving, I therefore request the
citizens to observe the same.
To carry out the request of the Town' Council,
