St. Paul's Friendship
Club's Fine Meeting
The Friendship Club of St,
Paul's Anglican Church held its
meeting at the home of Mrs.
George McLay with an attend-
ance of 28. The meeting opened
with the Members' Prayer, fol-
lowed by the Lord's Prayer re-
peated in unison.
The minutes and treasurer's
report were read. Plans were
made for the Blossom Tee which
is to be held on May 28. The
next meeting will be held at the
home of Miss Freda Schoenhals
with Mrs. Bernice Henry assisting.

Miss Veronica Fiddler, Van-
couver, B.C., has joined the staff
of Gliddon Cleaners, Clinton.

experience as, spotter and presser
in cleaning plants in Vancouver

fore coming to Clinton.

Plans Annual Bazaar
Clinton Presbyterian WA met
in the church on Tuesday, April
5, with a good attendance. The
president, Mrs. William Shaddock,
was in the chair, with Mrs. John
Snider at the piano.
The meeting opened with sing-
ing of hymn 606, and the presi-
dent read the first 14 verses of
the first: chapter of St, John's
Gospel, and led in prayer.
The secretary -treasurer, Mrs,
Alan Mexwell, read her reports,
It was moved by Mrs, George
Roberton, seconded by Mrs,
Charles Clifton, that all accounts
be paid.
A large number of aprons,
towells, and fancy articles were
handed in for the annual bazaar
to be hied on June 11. An in-
formal discussion of plans for the
bazaar followed.
The roll call was given, and
hymn 592 was sung, followed by
the Lord's Prayer.
