Several Saw Meteor
Several from here were for-
tunate in seeing the meteor which
fell around 8.30 p.m. on. Sunday.
It was very bright and seem to
fall in a red ball to the north-
east.

Farm Changes hands
Alfred MPachen has sold his
100 -acre farm on Concession 10,
Hullett Township, to Mr. Kazen-
ekes, who recently arrived in this
country from Sweden. The new
family consists of Mr, and Mrs.
Kazenekas and two sons. Another
son and his family are expected
to arrive in May.
Passes In West
Mrs. Russell Bentley, R.R. 3,
Blyth, has received word of the
death of her brother, Wilfred G.
Armstrong, Saskatoon, Sask., on
March 23. Mr. Armstrong was in
his 58th year and went west 38
years ago. Four years ago he
returned to visit with friends and
relatives around . Blyth end

Dies at Sioux Lookout
Mrs, H. C. Canavan, Sioux
Lookout, sister of Mrs. James
Armstrong, Blyth, died at her
home in her 50th year. Burial
was made at Rainy River. Mrs.
Canavan was quite well known
here, having spent" several vaca-
tions with Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong.
