The meeting opened by singing "Stand up for Jesus". followed by the Lord's Prayer. The treasurer's and sec- retary's report was then given The roll call was 'answered by' 17 members three members paid fees Mrs. Bert Irwin, Mrs. Bob Irwin end Mrs. Charles Brandon.. The lucky ticket was won by Mrs. Elgin Dale. It was decided to hold an euchre party in the Agricult- ure Board Room. The next meeting is to be held at the home of Mrs. Andrew Derek, During the afternoon a quilt was tied. A dainty lunch was served by group three which are Mrs. New- man Garret, Mrs, Ken McBurney, Mrs. Noble Holland and Mrs. Wiarren Gibbing's. The former Jessie. Ander- son, she was born in Kippen, daughter of the late. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, where she was PAGE SEVEN well known. Surviving are one son, John, Oxford, Mieh.; one brother, Arthur Anderson, Kip - pen; three sisters, Mrs. Dowson and Mrs. William Winder, HIP - pen, and Mrs. Charles Lambden, Lincoln Park, Mieh. Funeral ser- vices Will be held Thursday, March 17, at 2 p.m. Mrs. Ellazier spent last summer as the guest of her sister, Mrs. Dowson. Mrs. Winder ,was called to Oxford, Mich, Sunday and was with her sister when she passed away.
