Owing to the illness of the
Rev. L. Morgan, service in. St.
John's Anglican Church was
withdrawn Sunday morning.
Taken to Hospital
Mrs. Souter was taken to Scott
Memorial Hospital, Seaforth, on
Sunday. Mrs. Souter, who has
been staying with her daughter,
Mrs. Orrin Howson, has been in
poor health for some time.
World Day of Prayer
The World Day of Prayer was
held in St. John's Anglican
Church, Friday, March 4, at three
p.m. "A Call to Pray" was read
by the president, Mrs. J. W. Reid.
The leaders, Miss E. Mossop and
Miss R. Johnston were in charge
of the service. Prayers offered
by those chosen were Mrs. H.
Elliott, Mrs, H. Reid, Mrs. B.
McClinchey, Mrs. W. Reid, Mrs.
W. Webster, Mrs. A. Coleman,
and Mrs, George Reid. The ad-
dress on the significance of the
World Day of Prayer was given
by -Mrs. S. Keys. The offering
amounted to $6.46.
