His sister Elizabeth Weston is

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sotesbury,
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stotesbury and
son Douglas returned home on
Monday after spending the past
few weeks in Florida.

We are pleased to report that
two small school boys Teddy
Turner and Ronald Smith, are
back to school after 'a three
weeks' illness.
Birthday Fete
In' honour of her tenth birth-
day, Margaret Howard entertain-
ed the pupils of grades five and
six to a- bingo party. Twenty-
two games were played" with in-
dividual prizes. The prise for the
highest munber of games was
won by Bobby Parker". During
the lunch other prizes were given
for those having lucky spoons,
cups, plates, and sitting on a
lucky chair.
Film Board Showings
The National Film Board show-
ings will be given in Bayfield
Wednesday, March 2, at the school
at 2.30 p.m. and in the Town Hall
et 8.30 p.m. The series includes
Department of Education, Thrush-
es and relatives, Eskimo children,
Science helps the farmer, design-
ing women, Rocky Mountain trout
and L L. O. A. C. MacKinnon of
Victory Mills Toronto, and grad-
uate of O.A.C. will give a talk
illustrated with moving pictures
on. soil conservation and crop rot-
ation.

in Montreal awing to the serious
illness of Mr. Paterson's father.
George Mustard, Ralph Wolver-
ton and Miss Elizabeth Crooks,

former's parents; Mr. and Mrs.
Alex Mustard, over the weekend.

Janet Watson, Aylmer, Ruth Scott'
St. Thomas, and Blanche Zapfe,
London, were weekend 'guests ,ah
the homes of their parents.
YPtl in Charge
Sunday evening service, was in
charge of the Y.P.U.- and the
male choir with Rev. E. R. Stan-
way at the organ. ' Misses Mar-
jorie Mustard; Lois Rich'ardsan.
and Eleanor McCartney very ably
conducted the service while the
choir rendered several numbers.
There was a good attendance.
WMS Meets
The February meeting of the
W. M. S. was held at the home of
Mrs. C. Haugh with a good at-
tendance of members and several.
visitors. Mrs. H. Dalrymple was
in charge of the worship service
the theme being Thy Kingdom
Come—Thropgh the work of the
Christian People. Mrs. W. Scott
the president had charge of the
business. Mrs, Ross Scott offered i
her home for the Mareh Meeting.1
Several new members were
welcomed. Mrs. B. Keyes read a
very interesting article' on Tem-
perance. The program "Literat-,
ure for the newly -literate", from
Chapter V of West of the Gorges,
was ably taken by Mrs, E. R.
Stanway and Miss M. Swan which
told of the Canadian Mission
Press in Chengtu. The meeting
closed with hymn 182 and bene'd- i
