W/WMNN•VJN~NMI 1Ifi New Time System A new time system has been started at CCI by which pupils have a 45 -minute period before the buses leave at four -ten. Sev- eral activities have been schedul- ed for the benefit of the pupils, basketball being the present interest. On Mondays end Thurs- days, the girls will have the use of the gym for basketball prac- tice, This practice willbe not only for the team, but for all who are interested in the game. In this way, the younger girls will learn the game, while the team gets more practice in for the WOSSA genres. Teams will be formed for the girls, in which all will take part; also volley ball and ping pang tournaments will be worked out to fill inthe remaining time. So, if the townpeople wonder why the school pupils are rush- ing around town at noon hours, here's the answer—we have to be back at school at five to one, when classes start. This new schedule is only a trial, the purpose of it being to give the country pupils an op- portunity to take part in the sports programme, a * * BOYS' SPORTS— , Change in Schedule A change has been made in the H.S.S.A. basketball schedule. iton, Ont. 10.
