the carols, the church was dark-
ened, and the Rector read parts
of Scripture, during which the
children enacted the scenes of
the Annunciation, the Manger in
Bethlehem, the arrival of the
angels, shepherds and Hangs,
singing es they marched down
the aisle, "Hark the Herald Ang-
els Sing," "While Shepherds
watched their flocks by night,"
and "We Three Kings of Orient
Are." At the end of the tableau,
children of the Primary depart-
ment sang, "Away in a manger,"
and then all marched out sing-
ing the Nune Dimittis. The fol-
lowing children took part, all in

London Road Club Meets
The December meeting of Lan-
don Road Club was held at the
home of Mrs. M. Wiltse. The
meeting opened with the singing
of "Silent Night." There were
eight members and two visitors
present.
The treasurer's report was
given by Mrs. F, Anderson. The
secretary's report was read by

Lions Entertained Shut-ins
An added touch ,to the Christ-
mas season joy .was given to a
number of shut-in residents of
Bayfield by Bayfield Lions Club.
On Christmas Eve a number of
Lions and ladies of the village,
nuinbering about 201 went on a
sleighing party around the vil-
lage when carols were sung for
ell the shut-ins and Santa Claus
found time an his busy trek that
evening to call with the carollers
and leave a basket of goodies,
Employees Entertained
A holiday dinner sponsored by
Ivan L, Kalbfleisch, was enjoyed
by 100 employees of the F. C.
Kalbfleisch and Son, Ltd„ plan-
ing mill, Zurich, and their wives
at the New Ritz Hotel, Bayfield.
Several employees entertained
with musical numbers. Included
were: Messrs C. Krueger, L.
Beichert, E. Mittleholtz, E. Mar-
tindalle, Katholrine ICalbfleisch
and Marilyn Haberer. Group sing -
of Mrs. M. Wiltse who gave a
reading which was greatly en-
joyed. A number of carols were
sung..

The Farm Forum of S.S. No. 1,
Hullett, met on Monday evening,
January 3, at the home of Mr,

present. After the topic, "A

cussed, a few games of euchre

licious lunch was served. It is
