When a proposed candidate is unable to be
present at the Nomination Meeting, his nomination
shall not be valid unless there is attached thereto
evidence satisfactory to the Returning Officer that
• he consents to be so nominated.
Forms for Consent to Nomination are available
at the office of the Town Clerk.
At the Nomination Meeting a person 'may re-
sign in respect of one or more offices for which he
is nominated and in default he shall be deemed
nominated for the office for which he was FIRST
nominated.

RCAF CHILDREN'S PARTY
It was big day for the kiddies
at RCAFStation, Clinton, yest-
erday afternoon, when the child-
ren of all personnel were enter-
tained at a large Christmas party
in the Drill Hall, replete with
Christmas tree, deconationn Santa
Claus, and individual gifts for
each one of the 350 young hope-
fuls. The party was provided
through the courtesy of the Of-
ficers' Mess, Sergeants' Mess and
Airmen's Mess,
