ceipts and expenditures of Clin-
ton Citizens' Band was received.
Fire Protection
Coun. J. Wellington Crich, es
representative of the. Township
of Tuckersmith, addressed•Coun-
eil with respect to the matter of
fire protection and the possibil-
ity of an arrangement for an
agreement with the town and
Fire Department to respond to
urgent calls in that township.
Council discussed the matter
briefly, and the issue was passed
on to the 1949 Council for con-
sideration.
Baseball Banquet
Ald. Hattin presented the ac-
count of Hotel Clinton for $80
for the banquet to Clinton Colts,
and Council approved payment.

Ald. Paisley, reporting for the
Street Committee, stated that

year in office, and Reeve G. Wes-
ley Nott, who was reeve in 1946
and again this year, both ex-
pressed their willingness to
stand for the same offices for
1949.
Ald, M. J. Agnew, Robert Y.
Hattie, and J. W. Nediger, Jr.,
stated they had not yet come to
definite decisions regarding the
matter.
Ald. O. L. Paisley and Albert
Shaddick announced that they
would not be candidates for 1949.
Ald, Melvin Crich said he
would be in the running some-
where.
