"You mean to say," demanded
the champion lodge joiner's wife,.
"that you didn't get to make
your speech at all?"
"No, I didn't," sighed the man
who had practiced for six 'weeks.
"The toastmaster said, after three
other speakers had finished, that
as a special mark of distinction,
he was going to put me on first
at the next annual banquet.
rather than have me last on this
one."

When the new school area plan came into effect, Clinton District Collegiate Institute Board
proceeded to make arrangements for a bus service to transport out -of -Clinton pupils to and from.
school, and an efficient bus service was set up, supplemented by cars and station wagons for
the shorter trips.
ABOVE is an outline map of the District, the solid lines representing school bus routes, and
the dotted lines representing station wagon and car routes. It will be noted that a wide section
of Huron County is served by the system. Enrolment has increased from 150 to 250, with. 300 a
mark likely to be reached in the not -too -distant future.

A hen can only eat so much feed per day. If, that
feed is low in quality, she cannot possibly eat
enough feed to get the necessary food values to
sustain her growth and maintain egg production.
If your birds have the inherited ability to produce
200 or more eggs -choose your feed carefully, for
high egg production depends on the feed, Choose
