A large crowd attended the game, many of them being from Clinton and district, Lucan went into an early lead and led 5-1 at the end of the fifth inning. However, in the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth, Colt bats went abooming, and the early figures were badly re- versed. Bob Draper pitched lovely ball for the winners and was provided good support by his team mates. Bill Cook was credited with five safe hits in five official trips to the plate—and that is some- thing!
