Jack Ladd has purchased the
barbering business of James
Mutck, Goderich, and' has com-
menced business at his new stand.
However, he will continue to
barber at his shop here in the
evenings.
Baptist Anniversary
The Baptist Church is holding
its anniversary on September 12,
at '3 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. The
minister, Rev. A. Forsyth, will
preach and special music will be
provided by a quartette from
Goderich Baptist Church.
Dr. Fingland Preaches
A large congergation greeted
Rev. William Fingland, D.D.,
Niagara Falls, on Sunday even-
ing as he returned to his home
church, Knox United Church. The
special service under the auspices
of the Sunday School was con-
ducted by Charles Scott. Others
on the platform taking part were:
Rev. A. G. Hewitt and Rev. W.
J. Rogers, Blyth. Dr. Fingland
preached on the theme "Eyes they
