. •James Livermore has been quite ill
for the past two weeks but is now
progressing nicely. While carrying the
tray from her husband's room, Mrs.
Livermore fell, having tripped on the
door step, While able to get about,
Mrs. Livermore has a 'badly bruieed
limb. Their daughter, Mrs. Green, had
bene with them.

Ferri, pink roses and eandlebra
formed the setting for the marriage
on Saturday afternoon, January 31,
at 2.30 o'clock, when Kathleen Mary
Annette, youngest daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William J. Ross, Clinton,
became the bride of Donald Albert
Rombough, son of Mrs. Stanley Agar,
Guuouoque. Rev. W. J. Woolfrey per-
' formed the coremony'whieh took place
at the home of the bride's brother-in-
law and sister, Mr. and Mr's. L. J,
Brown. Miss Florence Aiken played
the wedding music.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a long ivory brocad-
ed satin gown with fitted bodice,
bustle back, long pointed sleeves and
a sweetheart neekliue. Her pearl bead-
ed tiara hold back a finger tip veil,
She carried as cascade of white roses
and calla Lilies.
The matron of honour was the
bride's sister, Margaret, Mrs. L. .T.
Brown, who wore a turquoise blue
taffeta gown with long flowing skirt,
bustle back, with matching halo and
iinrittens. She carried a bouquet of
`red roses.
The best man wag Lorne J. Brown,
brother-in-law of the bride, and her
nephew, Stephen Brown, was ring
(bearer.
After the ceremony the bride's
mother received wearing a 'blue dress
with a corsage of red roses. She was
assipted by the groom's nether who
wore a back dress with sequin trim
and a similar eoreage. A wadding
luncheon was served to immediate re-
latives and friends who were present
from Ganonoque, Toronto, St. Cath-
arines and Windsor.
Por the honeymoon trip the bride
wore a brown fur coat over a gab-
IRrdine suit, grey felt hat with ace-
essorios to match. On their return the
young couple will take up residence
in Ganonoque.
Tho wedding was `a happy reun-
ion for Bob Middleton and lien Smith
of Windsor, who, all during the war,
were members of the same bombing
OBITUARY
MRS. HARRY CR.1CH
Funeral services wore largely, at-
tended Wednesday afternoon, Febru-
ary 4, at Ball Brothers Funeral home,
High St., Clinton, for Mrs. Harry
Crieh. Rev. W. J. Woolfroy officiated'
and interment took place in Clinton
Cemetery. During the service Misses
Edith and Eleanor Pepper sang a
very pleasing duet.
Pallbearers were T. J. Riley, Charles
Johnson, -Clifford, Ray and Norman
Pepper and Frank Falconer. Flower -
bearers were Harold Pepper, Ray awl
Harold Cibbings, George Turner, Mer-
vyn Falconer and Keith Layton.
Mrs. Crieh, the former Helen P.
Inglis, was boar in Edinburgh, Scot-
land, 28 years age, andlived there
trntil she came to Canada 14 menthe
ago as a war bride, Since coming to
Clinton sho hadbeen a member of
Ontario St. United Church.
Mrs. Crieh's death along with that
of an infant son occurred in Clinton
Public Hospital on. Sunday, February
1, and was a gron.t shock to the citi-
zens of Clinton and vicinity.
Mrs. Crieh iy survived by her hus-
band, Harry 11 Orielli, whom she met
while he was nerving in the Canadian
Army overseas and later married in.
Edinburgh, Scotland, and a small son,
17 mon$he old. Also surviving are her
parents, two brothers and two sisters,
all living in Edinburgh.

meeting in the Legion Home on Mon-
day, February 9, at 8.15 p.m.
