In Toronto Hospital We regret to report that Orrin Howson, who has been on the sick list for some tirne, is now 1 hospital in Toronto for treatment. His many friends hope for a speedy recovery. Suffers Stroke Tho many friends of Cecil Wiley, an old Stanley boy (now of Detroit). will be sorry to,learn that he suffered a very severe stroke, and at time of writing shows no improvement. His only surviving sister, Mrs. Gertrude Reid, Varna, is with him. We hope for improventent. Thanks for Stamps Mrs. M. G. Prayer was offered by Mrs, Bond and the leader read a New 'Year 's ppm. The secretary read the minbies of the last meeting and melt ;member responded to the roll call with a Short verse. The Scripture les- son was read by Mrs. Yeo. A Chris - gen stewardship story, was read by M1.8. Walters; temperance by Miss D.. Finlay; also reading by Mrs. MeMath. The leader gave a very fine topic on the "Bible". Letters of thanks for flowers, also for Christmas baskets, were read from Mrs. 3/1CH/whey and Charles Wilson. A dad by Mrs, E. Potter and Mrs. E.
