The regular monthly moetirig of
Clinton Women's• Institute ryas held
in the Board Room of the Agricultural

Lois Trenley and Anna Glow favoured
with two piano duets which were much
enjoyed.
The meeting closed with the 'Na-
tional Anthem and' refreshments serv-
ed by the hostesses.

To Continue Aid
The January meeting of St. Paul's
W. A. was held around the fireside at the National Sub -Executive meeting of

Briide-elect Honored
At Surprise Party
A surrprise party and miscellaneous
shower was held in honour. of Miss
Day Ross, a January bride -elect, at
the home of her sister, Mrs. Lorne
Brown, with about' 30 friends and
relatives present, A gift basket was
presented to the bride-to-be contain-
ing many beautiful and useful gifts.
After opening these, Miss Ross ex-
pressed her thanks, and appreciation:
for every one's kindness. After a de.

Before leaving Toronto, where she
has been employed, Miss Ross was the
