Production • on the farm at Huron
County Home, Clinton, this year is
shown in the following report pre-
sented to Huron County Council on
Thursday last:
Milk produced, 188,758 pounds;
milk sold, 104,985 pounds; milk con-
sumed, 83,773 pounds;• eggs pro-
duced', 3,577 dozen; produced, 3,000
bushels turnips; 450 bushels man -
golds; 100 bags potatoes; 60 bushels
carrots; 60 bushels red}l,�b�eets; one
ton sweet corn; 50 buy5.e1s toma-
toes; % 'ton cucumbers; 10 tons
string beans; 4,000 bushels oats;
300 bushels spring wheat; 400 bush-
els buckwheat; 3,000 bales first -cut
hay; 440 bales second -cut hay; 25
bushels clover seed; seven tons cob
corn; 100 .tons hay silage; 10 barrels
apples; 30 bushels plums; 25 bushels
pears;' 100 boxes raspberries; 100
boxes currants; 6,700 quarts of fruit
and vegetables were preserved.
Farm stock includes 24 milch
cows,seven yearling heifers, nine
calves, two horses, 53 pigs, 250 hens,
175 roosters.
The farm includes 23 acres pas-
ture, 44 acres bay, 13 acres fall
wheat, 86' acres fall plowing ,done.
The. Holstein herd is valued at
$19,000.
New Brunswick has a 27 -ship
dragger fleet, the largest of its
kind in. Canada.
