(Intended for last week) Fine Picnic Held ' A very enjoyable picnic was held on Thursday, Tune 27, when the Mission Band of the United Church and the pupils of the public school held a picnic. About 30 attended, with Mrs, Ewan Ross, Mission Band leader, and Miss Holmes, teacher, in charge. The picnic was at Mrs. Ross's home. The children., organized by their teacher, carried out a fine programme of .races, games and a bountiful lunch, complete with cold drinks and ice cream.
