Arthur Glen Eagle was born at Eugenia Falls, Grey County, only eon of Rev. and Mrs. A. 3, Eagle, and resided' in various Ontario centres including Holland Centre, Victoria Harbour and Toronto, where his father had pastorates. Mr. Eagle attended Jarvis St, Collegiate Institute, Toronto, graduated from Victoria College, University of Toronto, with his B'eehelor of Arts degree in `1940, and from Emmanuel College, Vdc- toria University, in Theology in 1943. He was ssistant minister of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, Toronto, in charge of young people's work, and spent three summers in mission work in Alberta. After his ordination in 1943, be spent two years at Notikewin, north of Peace River, Alta„ and in 1945, was appointed minister of St. John's United Church, Creemore, west of Barrie, remain- ing there until the present time. In 1950, he received the degree of 'Bachelor of Divinity from Vic- toria University, Toronto, in the 'field of history. Rev. Mr. Eagle has besln active in athletics and dramatics, end he and his wife were associated in coaching a young people's group Presbyteryin Creemore to the Presbytery dramatic championship. The couple were married in December, 1942, the bride having been Joyce Washington, daughter of Rev. end Mrs. C. Washington, now of Auburn.
