Rebekah Officials Entertain
More than 250 members of the Rebekah Degree of the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows met in the Town -Hall,
Clinton-, an Monday evening, June 4, when: Mrs. Jean Burah,
Si. Catharines, president of the Rebekah Assembly of Ontario,
was present and addressed the gathering. During the evening
the Rebekah. Degree, under the captaincy of Mrs. Mary Nediger,
Clinton, conferred the -degree on seven candidates.

Londeshoro WI Meets
The regular meeting of Lon=
desboro Women's Institute was
held en Tuesday afternoon in
the Community Hall with Mr's.
Robert Fairservice in the chair.
The meeting opened with "0
Canada" and "Auld Lang Syne,"
and all repeated. the Mary Stew-
art Collect. The minutes of the
last meeting were read and the
business discussed. The corres-
pondence was reed and a bus trip
was planned for, later in June.
Rev. D. J. Lane, Clinton, spoke
on citizenship and, chose as his
topic, "The Luggage of Life." His
talk was very inspiring and gave
everyone present food for thought.

Trinity Guild Meets
The regular meeting of Trinity
Church Guild was held at the

were made to have a lunch
counter in Mrs. F. A. Edwards'
store on the Twelfth of July. Mrs -

vener. It was also decided to
hold two sales of home-made bak-
ing during the summer. Follow-
ing the Benediction, the hostess
served refreshments.
