CDCI CAPTURES
TRIP OF WINS
IN WINGHAM
(Contributed)
The red; white and blue clad
teams of CDCI travelled to Wing..
hair February 13, t4 play three
games previously called Of due
to a February blizzard.
In a fast, clean, well -handled
girls' game, the tartan -skirted
Clinton Senior Girls racked up
a 31-11 score on the red and
white Wingham squad: Three
girlswere standout in their per-
formances for the respedtive
teases, D. thinking with 13 end
Joanne Castle's 11' points sparked
the Clinton plub while C. Mc-
Intyre with rune provided most
of the Wingham offensive threat.
The Junior Boys' game was a
fast, clean, thrill -packed eontest,
nut the Rednnen of Clinton en-
joyed one of their better days
and dumped the white- elect
Wingbam outfit 38-18. B. Fines'
12 and R. Elliott's 10 paced the
Clinton quintet while the two
Wingham stars were Saxton and
C'amneron, both with six points.
The Senior contest was a rough,
ragged affair with both teams
kicking the ball •around and
playing poor basketball. Twenty-
one fouls were caned, most of
them on Wingham.
Murray Tyndall, the Clinton
long -shot artist, potted eight
points while Ron Philp made
seven to lead the big red squad
to victory 35-17. Hanna with sev-
en again proved himself the best
on the Wrotham squad.
