The _ RCAF Camp Borden Fly-
ers will be visiting this unit in a
return game of a friendly Inter -
Station hockey series on Friday,
January 26Songs$pos between Stations always
provides for the keenest rivalry,
with each team giving their best
performance to uphold, their Sta-
tion honor.
Some Weeks before Christmas,
our Station team journeyed by
road to Camp Borden, when.
weather Conditions made travel
by air impossible• After a tiring
journey which' took six end a
half hours on icy roads and in
snowstorms, our team could not
come out with the hockey they
are capable of. They tired badly
from the second period on and
went down to a 9-4 defeat.
In the return game, our boy
win be out to avenge this defeat,
and prove that RCAF Station
Clinton, can provide' a much bet
ter brand, of hockey as displays
at Camp Borden.
Camp Borden have a goo
team, heving made a good show
ing against teams of Senior B
calibre as Markham Millionaires,
and Alliston Senior B entry. They
are et present entered in the
Garrison League of the Army, at
damp Borden.
-' This should be a fast. thrilling
hockey game, as our team will
be in there fighting from the
opening whistle. A little encour-
agement is all that is needed. So
come out arid cheer your Station
team again visiting RCAF Camp
Borden.
It may also provide a chance
to - renew acquaintances of old.
e Remember, Friday, January 26, at

In the third period our boys
went all out to try to close the
gap in the scoring but again
Purola was unbeatable, and all
they could garner was two more
counters.' Five forwards were
iced. Scarrow came up with
picture goal, working his way
through Lhe entire Wingham
team to go in and score. With
titre forwards pressing, break-
aways allowed Wingham to count
two more. With 45• seconds re-
maining Alexander in the RCAF
goal was pulled in favor of an
extra forward. But though they
pressed could not beat Purola for
any further scores to end the
game 8-4 for Wingham.
