Remember last year's play-off series with Milverton, when the Colts were finally put out in the fifth game. Saturday night's game was a real crowd pleases for the more than 600 fans. They saw good fa&t hockey, hots of hard body - checking and one outbreak of fisticuffs. Twenty penalties were Banded out in the hard -checking game; twelve to New Hamburg, eight to the Colts. It was a very nice game, with a good crowd in attendance. Diduk tied it up two minutes later on a close in shot, only to have Winghem score with 20 seconds remaining in the first period to end the period 2-1 for Wingham. The second period opened fast with McLean tying the score at the 30 second mark. Some Weeks before Christmas, our Station team journeyed by road to Camp Borden, when. weather Conditions made travel by air impossible• After a tiring journey which' took six end a half hours on icy roads and in snowstorms, our team could not come out with the hockey they are capable of. They tired badly from the second period on and went down to a 9-4 defeat. In the return game, our boy win be out to avenge this defeat, and prove that RCAF Station Clinton, can provide' a much bet ter brand, of hockey as displays at Camp Borden. Camp Borden have a goo team, heving made a good show ing against teams of Senior B calibre as Markham Millionaires, and Alliston Senior B entry. They are et present entered in the Garrison League of the Army, at damp Borden. -' This should be a fast. thrilling hockey game, as our team will be in there fighting from the opening whistle.
