THE` Baptist Ladies' 'Aid held
a most successful Bazaar Satur-

all arrangements was Mrs. Reg.

IN charge of the various booths
were Mrs. T. Leppington and
Mrs. Alan Craig, baking; Mrs.

also a candy booth , . .
DURING the afternoon, two
large quilts and a crib quilt, made
by the ladies, were . sold ,
This was the second successful

THE executive and members of
Ten Town had a happy idea
when they made plans to enter-
tain their parents and the Lions
Club (their sppnsoring organiza-
tion) . . The party was held
Friday evening last at the Col-
legiate auditorium . . .
✓ a .
AN interesting program was
provided, cards, chess and danc-
ing . , Refreshments were serv-
ed during the evening . .
y
IN spite of the splendid idea
and the arrangements made,
there was one fly in th ointment
and a disappointing one to the
'Teen Towners-not many par-
ents nor Lions took advantage of
the opportunity to see how 'Teen
Town is run . . As this is one
of the major social activities of
the young people of the com-
munity, this lack of interest on
the part of the parents and others
does not seem good .
