Financial Statement
Mr. Greig presented the fin-
ancial statement for the year
which showed total expenditures
of 815, 064.19, as compared with
$14,852.05 receipts, indicating an
operating deficit of $212.14. How-
ever, surplus of assets over
liabilities at October 1950,
was $1,025.15.

Cecil Belyea, Toronto, provin-

tion, spoke briefly, stating that
$36,500 extra is needed for next
year for essentials for the On-
tario 'Federation, such as two ad-

a lawyer so that the Federation
may obtain the best legal advice
necessary. etc. He told the farm-
ers that whatever Federation has
cost, it has been truly worth-
while.
Margarine Survey
Harry Gowdy, Wroxeter, Hur-
on -Perth zone representative in
the Ontario Cream Producers,
reported that the provincial pro-
ducers fees have been reduced
by about $2,000, which shows
that butter • production is down
slightly.
A survey was made in the
County of Huron of the number
of farm, homes using margarine.
