Tenders for Etue Drain
TENDERS will be received by the undersigned for
the construction of the ETUE MUNICIPAL DRAIN, Town-
ship of Tuckersmith. Tenders must be in a lump sum for
whole job and a bond. -in form of 10% of tender must ac-
company such tender.
The open work `in the job must be completed by
December 1, 1950, and all other work by June 1, 1951.
Tenders must be sealed and plainly marked tender, and
mailed ordelivered to reach the clerk by 8 p.m., E.S.T.,
October 7, 1950.
Plans and Specifications may be seen at the Clerk's
Office. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Field Day October 11
The .annual Goderich Township
Field Day will be held Wednes-
day next, October 11, commenc-
ing at 1 p.m. on the grounds of
S.S. No. 6 Union School. Every-
one, especially parents, will be
welcome. A refreshment booth
will be in operation.

A pleasant evening was spent
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Mrs. Russell Consitt, Parr Line,
on Thursday, September 28, when
the family . of Mr. Ralph Steph-
enson gathered to honour him
on his 89th birthday.
The occasion was also marked
by the christening of little Nancy
Anne Consitt, infant daughter of
Mr. and MT's. R4 Clonsitt, and
Mr. Stephenson's 20th great
grandchild.
Members of the family who
were present included his son,
William R. Stephenson, and Mrs.
Stephenson, Parr Line; his two
daughters, Mrs. Webster Turner,
Hensall, and Mrs. Elva Reid, Sea -
forth. Other members of his
family are two daughters, Mrs.
William Cockerline and Mrs.

attendance. Plans were made for
1951 and to hove Mr. and Mrs.
Cliff Epps. Clinton, address a
meeting in the Orange Hall on
October' 11 at 8 p.m. Anyone
