er returned to Waterloo on Mon -

report. Considerable time was
spent in disedssing finances and
planning for the autumn. The
president closed with the Bene-

In his farewell sermon on
Sunday, Rev. LaVerne Morgan
thanked the people for their
kindness during his pastorate
here and bespoke for his suc-
cessor the same loyal support as
had been accorded him in the
various branches of church work.
Many members; of Trinity at-
tended the Harvest Thanksgiving
service at St, James Church,
Middleton, on Sunday evening.
Atthe close of the Service, the
wardens of St. James, St. John's
and Trinity Churches went to
the front of the church. J. E.
Hovey asked Mr, and Mrs. Mor-
gan \to go forward and he read
an address after which the war-
dens presented them with a cab-
inet of silver flatware, silver
cream and sugar set, and a gift
of money for Karen end Phillip
from. the members of the three
congregations.

Mrs. F. W. Sange and family,
Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. E. Dool
day after having spent the week-
end with the former's aunt, Mrs,

Rev. and Mrs. LaVerne Morgan,
Karen end Phillip, left on Tues-
day morning with the former's
parents who were driving them
to St. Mark's Rectory, Marine
City, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. John Stumpf left
on Monday for their home in
Port Washington, Long Island,
N.Y., after having visited the
latter's mother, Mrs, W. J. Stin-
son, for a couple of .weeks.
Service in Trinity Church will
be ,held at 7 p.m, (Standard
Time) on Sunday next. Due to
the confusion over the time last
Sunday, many children missed
Sunday School, and quite a num-
ber of people arrived at the close
of matins.
William L. Cameron, Detroit,
and Miss Mildred Cameron, Lon-
don, spent the weeeknd of Sept-
ember 16 with Miss Elizabeth
Cameron. Miss Grace Cameron
who spent the summer with her
sister accompanied her brother
to Detroit on her way to Chicago.
Trinity WA Meets
The regular meeting of the
WA was held at the home of
Mrs. N. W. Woods on Thursday
afternoon, Rev, LaVerne Mor-
gan conducted the opening ex-
ercises end read the Scripture.
Mrs. E. Heard presided, When
the Rector was taking his leave
Mrs. Heard expressed the regret
felt at his departure and wished
God's blessing on his work in
St. Mark's Episcopal Church,
Marine City, Mich.
The secretary's report was
read by Mrs. R. Larson and Miss
