Will left on Friday to spend a fort- night at Elgin House, Muskoka. Mrs. J,, E. McKeown and fam- ily, Hamilton, are occupying Mrs. Green's cottage on Chiniquay St. Dr. and Mrs, W. J. Tillmann, London, are at their cottage "Longvue", for the month of August. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vanstone and Billy, Kitchener, are visit-. ing the former's father, Albert. Featherston, over the weekend., Miss Trambly, principal of Ker- oheval School, Detroit, was the guest of Miss Anne Drouin, "Hill- crest;" last week. Mr. and Mrs. Len Smith and Miss Betty Lou Larson, London, spent the weekend with Mrs. Charles W. Parker. ' M`r. and Mrs. Harold Weston and two children, Detroit, are holidaying with the former's father, George Weston. Mr. and Mrs, J. Rankin, and family, Goshen, ' Indiana, are visiting the former's aunt, Miss C. P. Rankin," Glenboig." Cpl, Mulhern and family who have occupied Rev. F. H. Paull's cottage for the past two years, left last week .for Dartmouth, NS. Mrs Beverly Beaton, Jr., and Janice and Master. Hart and Ronnie returned to their home in Toronto on Friday after hav- ing . spent a few days with Mrs. Hart's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George King. Charlie Hart who spent his vacation with his grandparents also . returned to Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Norval Gemein- hardt and family, Saginaw, Mich., spent a. two weeks' vacation in July with the former's sister and family, Mrs.. J. Sturgeon, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Knight, Ronald and Mary, Toronto, were with Mrs. Mary Gemeinhardt for a week. Due to 'a .bad fracture, Miss Josephine Stirling has her left wrist in a cast. She was stand- ing on a lawn seat at her home picking cherries on Thursday last, when the seat tipped, and threw her to the ground, Her many friends hope she will make a good recovery. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Butler and and William Heard, accompanied by Mrs. James Porter, Goderioh, motored to Proton Station on Saturday to spend the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Haw. The old village was so changed that he hardly knew his way around to the old haunts, Chair Dedicated ' Following the third' collect at matins inn Trinity Church on Sunday last, Miss Hilda King went forward to the chancel and read a petition to the Rector re- questing that he dedicate a Bis- hop's chair to the Glory of God and in loving - memory of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas King and their daughters, Lillian and Shirley, given by the King family. The Rector accepted and dedicated the oak chair, which was followed by special prayers.
