To Help New Fairground Building Highlight of the • mid -summer season in this district, from an entertainment point of view, will be the fourth annual Carnival' to be staged by Hayfield Lions Club in Lions. Park, Bayfield '(form- erly Agricultural Park), on Wed- nesday evening next, July 26. Erect New Building Net proceeds of the affair will be used to start construction of a new building in Lions Park. This building will give cover to future fall fairs and will provide a cov- ered rink for winter ice sports. Last year's project of'movies for the children will be continued through 1950-51: Lions on Their Toes Hayfield Lions Club has done a splendid job in connection with Lions Park, skating rink and supplying equipment for Bayfield Fire Department. In order to provide the neces- sary funds, the fourth annual Carnival is being conducted next Wednesday evening, July 26. First event on the evening's program will be a fastball match at seven o'clock, while formal opening of the Carnival will take place at eight o'clock. There will be features for old and young alike, including a giant bingo, plenty of games 'to test the skill of everyone, with pony rides and other amusements for the children. Tickets From Members Tickets are now on sale from members, and will be available during' the evening, on a draw for eight valuable prizes. The draw will be held at 1130 .p.m., followed by a draw for two prizes on the gate tickets. Arrangements are now complete for full cooperation of all mem- bers of Bayfield Lions Club, and friends, in staging the Carnival Wednesday evening next, July 26. Chairman Appeals President Charles Scotehmer is general chairman of the Carnival, ably supported by Leslie Elliott as treasurer.
