the date for the annual bazaar

Successful Orange Service
A service was held for the
Orangemen of Huron County on
the evening of Sunday, July 2,
in St. Andrew's United Church.
Over 100 members of the Order
were in attendance, meeting in
the Orange Hall and marching to
the church, where they were ad-
dressed by Rev. Peter .Renner,
who took as his text, "Ye should
be witnesses unto me"; also the
words written at the beginning
of the Orange Constitution and
taken from Ex, 18: "and thou
shalt teach them ordinances and
laws and shalt shew them the
way wherein they must walk and
the work that they must do." Mr,
Renner stressed the fact that as
members of the Order they had
all pledged themselves to do
these things and he called on
them to keep their nromises.
The singing by the choir of
ook to the Lighthouse'; and a
solo by Thomas Merritt, Hen-
sall, "The Stranger of Galilee,"
added to the interest of the ser-
vice. The lodges were led by the
band from Woodham as they
marched around the Square on
their way back to their hall.
