A stockbroker was very keen
on having proficient clerks in his
employ. Before a clerk could
enter his office, he was required
to pass a Written examination on
his knowledge of business.
At one examination one of the
questions was: "Who formed the
first company?"
A certain bright youth was a
little puzzled at this, but he was

was announced that the Junior
Institute. Achievement Day would

splendid report of the Institute
convention held in Guelph. Plans
were completed' to have Institute
members go on a planned bus tour
to Toronto. A donation of money
and a bale of clothing is to be
given to the Manitoba Flood Re-
lief. Plans were made to hold
a booth at the Spring Show and
'also for Old Home Week.
Each member pinned a flower
on her Sunshine Sister, and latex
(madeby the president and
enjoyed a share of Anel cake
especially iced by Mrs. Williams
for this Sunshine Sister Day.
Lunch was served by the social
committee.
