Presbyterian Club
Plan Improvements:
A -good live meeting of Clin-
ton Presbyterian Men's Club was
held around a bachelor's dinner
table, which was amply supplied
with a full course meal by Don
Colquheun and his workers, who
really excelled themselves. Where
ever Don's group secured those
pies, they were par excellence.
The business activities were in
charge of the president, Royce
Macaulay, and included the de-
sire of the club to sponsor an-
other sound film for the com-
munity, in the near future. The
matter was unanimously left with
a committee composed of Rev, D.
J. Lane, Frank Mutch and "Dick"
Jacob. The grounds committee
reported vigilance with regard to
the necessity of beautifying of
the church lawn as soon as con-
ditions are favorable.
The special program, under
Don's direction included a short
talk on the history of "Mothers'
Day"; a well rendered recita-
tion by Ed. Gibson and a timely
description of Canadian bird life
by Sam Castle, which proved
most interesting, and informa-
tive.
The treasurer, Bob Morgan,
gave a splendid account of the
finances of the club.
Next meeting is scheduled for
the week of May 14. Scotch bon-
nets are worn by those posses-
sing them.
