the headquarters of the Dominion
Marksmen organization,
• Only e few of the country's
rifle shooting enthusiasts are suc-
cessful each year in winning the
award. They must post dear
perfect scores in the prone,
sitting or kneeling, and stand-
ing positions.
The names of this year's latest
winners end their scores out of
a possible 6,000, include the foI-

November and of

Youthful Fishermen
Under'14 Get Break
At a meeting of Mviaitiand Fish
end Game Conservation Club,
Goderich, it was agreed unani-
mously that Paradise Pond and
Cemetery Creek will be open to
children only for x'ishing on Sat-
urday, May 6,.with the age limit
set et 14 years, and the catch at
five trout daily, Fishing is open
to everyone from May. 7 to 20.
The children are urged, "at the
crack of dawn," armed with rod
and can of worms to try their
luck fishing for speckled trout.
Directors of the club will be there
to supervise the show and count
the number and size of the trout
taken.

lems and Legion affairs in
general.

treasurer C. Miller both tender-
ed their resignations, which
were regretfully accepted. J. D.
Thorndike, Clinton, was appoint-
ed zone sports officer with power
to appoint his own secretary -
treasurers.

H. S. Turner, Goderich; secretary

At the conclusion of the meet-
ing the visitors were entertained
by Blyth branch in the Legion
Home.

Inmates Entertained
Two very fine entertainments
have been presented at Huron
County Home, during the past
week which have been greatly
appreciated.
Five members of the Officers'
Mess of RCAF Station, Clinton,
gave a very fine concert Thurs-
day evening last. F/O "Gerry"

chocolate bars, marshmallows,
apples. oranges, bananas and to-
bacco.
The monthly movie, sponsored
by Clinton Lions Club, was pre-
sented Monday evening. A Gene
Autry picture was shown and this
proved just as popular with the
"boys and girls" of the home
as with any members of the
younger generation who follow
their star with so much interest.

Horticultural Society
Plans Flower Show
The executive oe Clinton Hor-
ticultural Society met on Monday
evening at the home of Mrs.
Frank Fingland. Plans were made
for the beautification of the
Library Park in preparation for
the Old Boys' Reunion in August
It also was decided that the
Society should hold a Flower
Show during the summer months.
