A' Little Fun:
Hogmen And
Winter Robin
(By our Bayfield correspondent)
Heard Saturday over a radio
broadcast from CHNX: Agri-
cultural Representative, "We
are fortunate in this district
to have so many purebred hog
men". A non -agriculturalist
could ask: "Are they super
specimens of homo genii?
Mrs. Nelson Heard could hardly
believe her ears on Sunday. She
heard robins singing. As she ex-
pressed it: 'One gets very angry
with them in the summer when
they eat the strawberries and the
cherries, but to hearthem sing at
this time of year seems wonder-
ful. I ran into the house to tell
Nelson." The pair have been
around all week and seem very
happy feeding .on frozen apples.
Does this portend an early sprig?
chmer had the men's high score,
and Stanley Telford, the low. Jam-

hands. The evening .came to a
close after refreshments served by
Guild members.

Moyer and twin daughters, Le -
Anne and Lynn, with them for
this occasion, and also the rector,
the Rev. W. S. Outerbridge.
The committee served chocolate
milk and I cookies to the children
and a cup of tea to the mothers.
They also sold cookies and home-
