Coyne -Becker
Pink and white gladioli formed
the setting in St. J'ohn's Roman
Catholic Church, Kitchener, for
the wedding on Saturday, October.
1, of Marjorie Theresa Becker,
Kitchener, formerly of Clinton,
and Joseph Martin Coyne, Guelph.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank J. Becker, Kitch-
ener (granddaughter of Mr. and
Mrs: Joseph Becker, Clinton), and
the 'bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. T. Coyne, Guelph. Rev.
W. F. Gleason officiated and sang
the nuptial mass. St. John's choir.

Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a silk embroidered
traditional floor -length gown of
clouds of nylon tulle over slipper
satin. The strapless basque was
shirred and billowed into a bouf-
font skirt. The redingote which
was fashioned with a Peter Pan
collar and long lily point sleeves
had silk embroidered scalloped
edges. The lily -of -the -valley veil
Was of silk illusion and fell from
a jewelled tiara, , She carried a
pearl prayer book.
Miss Delores Becker, Kitchener,
was her sister'smaid of honor,
and Miss' Kathleen Trautman and.
Mrs. Eisen Fernandes, both of
Kitchener, were bridesmaids. Miss
Karen Becker and Miss Sharon
Becker, the bride's twin sisters
were flower -girls.
The senior attendants wore
identically styled .gowns of nylon'
net over satin. The strapless bod-
ices were of pleated net over sat
in, and they weretopped by shrug
boleros which featured Chinese
styled necklines, and the skirts
were fashioned in a handkerchief
design. Miss Becker wore pink,

nylon net with dipping brims
adorned with. pearls, and they car-
ried pink roses and white carna-
tions.
The flowergirls wore stiff white
nylon gathered skirts with floun-
ces of pink nylon net scattered
with pink rosebuds. The tops 'of'
the dresses were of an off -the -
shoulder design. Their headdres-
ees matched those of the brides-
maids, nand they carried' white
crocheted baskets filled with baby
roses in ` pink.
Donald Baetz was groomsman;
and the ushers were John Jones
and Jack ;MitzIoff, all of Kitchen-
er;
For the reception that followed
at Hillcrest Inn,' the bride's moth-
er received wearing a black taf-
feta ensemble with pink accessor-
ies. Fora wedding trip. to Man-
itoulin Island•, and ' other points
north, the bride donned a navy
blue suit, with pink and navy ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink
roses. ' •
Nediger—Hanly
Ontario Street United Church,
Clinton, was the setting. of an
autumn wedding on Friday after-
noon when Rev. Dr. James D.
Smart, Rosedale Pre,sbyterian
Church, Toronto, assisted by Rev.
A. G. Eagle, united in marriage
Phyllis Jeannette Hanle., Clinton,
and William George Nediger,
Oakville. The bride is the only
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M.
Hanly, RR 5, Clinton and the
bridegroom is the son of Mr, and
Mrs. John W. Nediger, Clinton.
Mrs. Bert Boyes, Clinton, was
organist.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of white
bridal satin which featured . a
moulded bodice and bouffant
skirt. The portrait neckline was
softly scalloped and accented with
French embroidery and seed
pearls. Her fingertip tulle illusion
veil was caught to her head with
a band of motherof pearl em-
broidery and she carried a cas-
cade of tawny gold roses.
Miss Alma Morris, student at
School of Law, University of To-
ronto, was maid of honor and
wore a ballerina -length gown of
pale blue embossed crystalette
made on princess -lines. Her head-
dress was of matching material,
and she carried yellow baby
chrysanthemums.
Charles Hanly, Oxford, Eng-
land, brother of the bride, was
groomsman and- the ushers were
William Hanly, Clinton, brother
of the bride, and John Wilson,
Clinton.
At the reception at Riverview
Farm, Seaforth, the bride's- moth-
er received wearing a charcoal
ensemble, black accessories and a
corsage of red roses. She was as -

MR. AND MRS. DONALD ROSS GRAY were married in
St, Paul's Anglican Church here on September 24. The bride is
Joyce Miller, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh R. Hawkins,
Clinton, and her husband is the son of Mrs, Stanley McMullen,
Chesley and the late Arthur Gray, formerly of Atwood. The
young couple is living in London.

For her wedding the bride chose

per satin with slight train accent-

tip veil was held in place with e

groom, was gowned in floor -length
blue crepe with matching head

The Protestant Chapel, RCAF
Station Clinton was' the scene of a
lovely double ring ceremony last
Saturday when Ellen Marie Love,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Love, Zurich, exchanged marriage
vows with Robert John Graham,
son of Mr, and Mrs. Edward Gra-
ham, Cloverdale, B.C. The groom
is a graduate of Nazarene College,
Red Deer, Alberta, and the -bride
is a graduate of the Royal Con-
servatory of Music, Toronto.
Padre 8, Garrett was the of-
ficiating clergyman. W. H. Wic-
kett, F.C.C.O., London, provided
the wedding music and accompan-
ied the soloist, Mrs. John Ostrom,
Clinton. -
The bride, who is organist at
the chapel, was beautifully gown-
ed in traditional white. Given in
marriage by her father, she wore
an imported model of nylon •net
and chantilly lace over satin. The
bouffant skirt in waltz -length was
fashioned with two tiers of scal-
loped lace and a lace bolero with
lily point sleeves topped the fitted
strapless bodice. A small jewelled
headdress held her finger-tip veil
of French illusion net and her
bouquet was of American Beauty
roses and fern.
The bride's only attendant, Miss
Joan Doreen Pinder, Toronto,
chose a walt-length gown of sea -
foam green satin brocade fashion-
ed on princess lines .with dropped
waistline ending in a very full
skirt. She wore matching gloves
and shoes and carried a nosegay
of yellow and bronze 'mums to
match her bandeau headdress.
Clarence Love, Goderich, broth-
er of the bride, was groomsman,
and the ushers were Arnold John-
ston and Jack Adamson.
The wedding dinner was served
at the Dominion Hotel, Zurich.
The bride's table was centred with
a three tiered wedding cake: Rev.
John E. Ostrom, Clinton, proposed
the toast to the -bride, to which
the groom responded. Afterward
a reception was held for the
guests at the home of the bride's
parents. Mrs. Love received in an
orchid crepe dress with lace trim
and wore a corsage of yellow
'mums and fern. Mrs. Ostrom who
assisted in the absence of the
groom's mother, was dressed in a
black and white ensemble with a
corsage of red carnations. •
Later the happy couple left on
a short wedding trip. The bride
wore raspberry wool fitted cloth
coat over a simple grey and black
corded frock with blaek accessor-
ies. Her corsage was of American
Beauty roses, -On 'their return,
Mr. and Mrs. Graham will reside
